The Verein Historische Mittel-Thurgau-Bahn will operate a special train "Osterhasen Fahrt mit Überraschung" departing from Romanshorn at 12.45.(2011.04.09)
  The Zuricher Museum Bahn (ZMB) will have a special steam train on Easter Monday departing from Zurich- Allstatten at 10.30. (2011.03.24)

The MGB driver who was at the controls of the derailed Glacier Express last year has been sentenced for manslaughter by negligence with a fine of 150 days @ CHF 100 (CHF 15,000) with probation of two years plus a penalty of CHF 500. The man is still employed by MGB but no longer as a driver. (2011.03.11)

Logo Rigi Bahn - There will be no steam train operations from Arth-Goldau for 2011.  This is do to construction at Rigi Station in Arth-Goldau.  See www.rigi.ch for additional information. (2010.12.22)
Pilatus - Reopens on 26 February,  construction and renovation will last until May 2011
Vapeur Val-de-Travers - There no planned operation from the VVT Depot due to the local Railway company RVT plans to completely refurbish and modernize the station at Fleurier. This is were the track branchs off to St-Sulpice. (2010.12.24)
